  1. I’m interested in the Trans Pacific Partnership you mention in the agenda. Is this the most recent incarnation of the Pacific trade agreement Obama has been talking up among our allies in Asia?

I am also very interested in an area of research I read about where different strains of cotton were selected and propagated on the basis of color. The idea was to grow cotton that did not have to be dyed with chemical dyes. This would be a great talking point for the cotton industry since it promotes a greener world. Has this research progressed to the point of commercial viability?

Finally. I remember reading about an Israeli designer who treated his cotton t-shirts with milk to give the cotton a softer hand. I would love to hear more about how cotton is treated after it has been made into fabric that changes the way it drapes and/or performs.

Your conference sounds really interesting! Robin Petro 401-322-1377
